1. Acceptance of Terms
By registering for any services, training camps, skill clinics, or club memberships provided by Caracal Velocity Cycling Club ("Caracal Velocity," "we," "us," or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must not use our services.
2. Assumption of Risk & Liability Waiver
Cycling, both on-road and off-road, is an inherently dangerous sport that carries significant risks, including but not limited to severe injury, permanent disability, property damage, and death. By participating in any Caracal Velocity activities, you explicitly acknowledge and assume all such risks.
Caracal Velocity, its owners, coaches, staff, and affiliates shall not be held liable for any injury, loss, damage, or death occurring during coaching sessions, events, or club rides. Participants (and their legal guardians, where applicable) participate entirely at their own risk.
3. Athlete Responsibilities
To ensure a safe and productive environment, all athletes must adhere to the following:
- Equipment: Athletes must ride a mechanically sound and appropriately sized bicycle. Wearing a properly fitted, certified cycling helmet is absolutely mandatory at all times while on the bicycle.
- Health: Athletes must be physically fit to undertake strenuous exercise. It is your responsibility to disclose any pre-existing medical conditions prior to starting.
- Conduct: We maintain a zero-tolerance policy for unsportsmanlike conduct, bullying, or unsafe riding practices. Coaches reserve the right to dismiss any rider who endangers themselves or others.
4. Payment & Cancellation Policy
All fees for private coaching, school programs, and clinics must be settled strictly in advance, unless a specific payment arrangement has been confirmed in writing.
Cancellations for private sessions must be made at least 24 hours in advance. Failure to do so will result in a 100% cancellation fee. Training camps and clinics are non-refundable within 7 days of the event, though credits may be issued under severe medical circumstances.
5. Media and Photography
Caracal Velocity regularly takes photographs and videos during training sessions, camps, and club rides for instructional and promotional purposes (including our website and social media). By agreeing to these terms, you grant us permission to use such media. If you or your child wish to be excluded from marketing material, you must inform us in writing prior to the session.
